The Quill (Gilsoft) was a text-based adventure game creation utility. For the review, Oliver Frey created three illustrations incorporating the imaginary hero and the adventure writer giving his directions. Shown here are the original boards with a pale overlay indicating how they were cropped. The boards come complete with a similar paper mask as a mounting board template.
